Standard fare here. Very short, very repetitive, but it probably will make your toddler laugh as the silly drawings illustrate the point, that being, if the parent is playful about teaching the child how to get dressed, the child will step up to the plate and show the parent that he really does know how to put on his pants, and certainly knows that you don't put your arms into your pant leg openings! I am giving it 3 stars just because this is merely a lesson, not much else, and as a parent reading it to the child, I did not appreciate the repetitive phrasing. I also think you can't go back to this book again and again, but maybe you can; I don't think I can, but I might remember to use the somewhat useful approach it teaches on how to get your child to dress himself (when the time is right.)Product details

Lovely book with very effective method of passing instructions to kids & getting them to participate without throwing regular tantrums. Truly educative indeed
I can't imagine myself with this type of patience. The book is fun and cute to read though.. but I hope my kids don't want the same expectations from me.
I rated this book five-starS because I feel that this book makes lots of sense . But the part I diDn't like was the fact that the mother of the child wasn't in the book. I recommend this book to kids who think that they can't dress themselves or kids who feel the shouldn't have to dress themselves that the mommy should do it or the father. As of Today I will have recommended this book to kids
Cute book, vibrant colors, my nieces and nephews were intrigued.
The length of the book was good, not too long.

Actually, for the first time little 3 years old, Tim, got dressed all by himself, after the 2'nd time it was read to him! Bless you dear Yonit werber for writing this educational and enjoyable book for little ones!
I have a 4yr old girl & 2 yr old boy, and we all enjoyed reading this book. It's well written, fun, light-hearted and has a great message. I love the Dad's patience in the book in letting his boy teach him how to get dressed. It's how we interact with our kids as well, and our kids love showing us when they're ready. I will be looking for other books by this author.
I liked the way the author has shared how to help a kid learn how to help themselves without threatening or making false promises along the way as their kid grows up. And great illustrations as well. I recommend this ebook for any very young kid who has always been asking for help! For such creative and imaginary thinking to help parents and great pictures I feel that this ebook needs five stars.
